New ArrivalsHere we are yet again with the babies for the 2010 season and excited to show them off as they arrive. We had fun this season with 3 cria arriving within minutes of each other. Three pregnant females going into labour all at the same time was an interesting experience and a first for us. Here are their offspring. Photos will be updated regularly so keep checking in. _________________________________________________________ Alclair Shanita DOB: 23 January 2010 Dam: Alclair Shayla (Rose-grey roan) Sire: Silverstream Da Vinchi (Medium fawn) Shanita was our first cria to arrive by minutes. She is the image of her big sister Shanti when she was the same age (see Shanti's first cria below).
Shanita @ 2 weeks __________________________________________________________ Alclair Tahi DOB: 23 January 2010 Dam: Alclair Misty (Grey) Sire: Silverstream Da Vinchi (Medium fawn) Tahi was our first boy to arrive and is a real cutie. His fibre looks really promising. We were surprised by his colour since his dam is grey. She's had black and grey cria before but never brown. Our colours have been interesting this year.

Alclair Cruz DOB: 23 January 2010 Dam: Alclair Shanti (Medium fawn) Sire: Aviana Farms Enrico (Medium fawn) Cruz is light fawn and was the last to join little Shanita and Tahi on a lovely sunny day. He is the first cria to Alclair Shanti and what a stunner he is. Shanti is Silverstream Da Vinchi's first progeny and her mating to Enrico has produced something special. Cruz has crimp to die for. You can see it already in this photo taken at a day old and the one below at three weeks. He will be run on to see if this wee guy has stud potential.

Cruz @ 3 weeks old _________________________________________________________ Alclair Tawny DOB: 24 January 2010 Dam: Alclair Aliana (Medium fawn) Sire: Silverstream Da Vinchi (Medium fawn) Tawny arrived the day after the first three. She is the first cria to Aliana. Aliana's sire is Ven Chura.
Tawny @ 1 week old _________________________________________________________ Alclair Issie DOB: 27 January Dam: Alclair Seuss (White) Sire: Silverstream Da Vinchi (Medium fawn) Issie was our fifth cria in less than a week. It was a busy time. She is a dear wee girl and quite grey underneath the brown you can see in the photo.
Issie @ 1 week old _________________________________________________________ Alclair Ivory DOB: 11 February 2010 Dam: Alclair Freda (Black) Sire: Aviana Farms Enrico (Medium fawn) One week without any new arrivals then Ivory was found running around the paddock, dry, fed and energetic. She surprised us with her arrival but even more so that she is white out of a black dam and fawn sire. Ivory is snowy white and oh so soft.
Ivory @ 1 day old _________________________________________________________ Alclair Ebony DOB: 13 February 2010 Dam: Alclair Zelda (Grey) Sire: Silverstream Da Vinchi (Medium fawn) Ebony arrived two days after Ivory. We now have 7 little cria, 5 girls and 2 boys all very close in age so you can imagine what play time is like.
